Sarah Savoie

Where are you from: Michigan

What is your day job: I work in program management/operations for a tech company.

What do you like to do for fun outside of CrossFit: Trail running/hiking, floats or paddle boarding on the river, summar walks with my dog, indoor bouldering, the occasional video game.

What makes a good coach: A good coach makes you feel cared about and helps you to achieve your goals - whether it's to get comfortable hanging from the pull-up bar or getting a muscle-up or to just move four days a week.  Communication is critical - a good coach wants to understand what's going on, where your head is at that day, and how they can make sure you get a good workout every class.

Why did you become a CrossFit coach: CrossFit and its community has had a huge impact on my life and coaches are such an important component for that experience to be successful.  I want to help others have the same experience - improvement in their health, their fitness, their mental wellness, and the joy that comes with being part of a fantastic community.

What is your favorite workout: This is tough! I prefer chippers, something with cleans, gymnastics....not sprinty haha.  Double DT is fun!

What are your certifications: Level 2 CrossFit Training, CrossFit Gymnastics, Burgener Strength Weightlifting Level 1
