Coach
Where are you from: Most recently Fargo, ND, before that Indiana, but born and raised in the Chicago suburbs.
What is your day job: I am a sales engineer for HVAC/Plumbing equipment
What do you do for fun outside of CrossFit: I enjoy hiking, playing volleyball, playing video games, and learning new skills (big YouTube guy)
What makes a good coach: A good coach makes all athletes feel welcome and challenges them to do something difficult every day they’re in the gym.
Why did you become a CrossFit coach: I wanted to give back to a community that gave me alot. CrossFit gives me the feeling of competing that I missed after my college baseball career was done, it gives me a community to drop-in at wherever I travel (46 gyms and counting), and surrounds me with people that are all trying to be better versions of themself. I want to be able to provide that experience for anyone that comes to my class.
What is your favorite workout: Echo bikes and odd object workouts (Sandbags, Sleds, Yokes) are my jam.
What are your certifications: Currently CF-L1. I coached at CrossFit Fargo for a few years and coached the Olympic weightlifting team at Moorhead High School (Go Spuds!).
